Quotes/Common Room/Studying  

Ravenclaws have a large affinity for quotes. Because of this, it is not unusual to find a Ravenclaw staring at the walls, drapery, or even the windows in the Common Room. Most likely these students are not simply daydreaming, nor are they lost in thought. These bright Ravenclaws have discovered that if one stares at a spot long enough, a quote will appear, oftentimes a quote that reinforces whatever thought they had or argument they were making. If a student is not actively thinking, or arguing, but merely feeling a little low, it is not unheard of for inspirational quotes to appear to lend that little boost of confidence.

The bookbags that Ravenclaw students carry around campus are always charmed to be lighter. The spell was taught by either Professor Flitwick or a Prefect on their first night at Hogwarts. 

Professor Flitwick had been taught the charm when he was a First Year himself by an older student after an incident where he couldn’t carry his own himself. He thought it was the most useful charm ever during his Hogwarts career as a student as he always brought heavy textbooks and novels around the school.
